Build a useful site.

Now, there is a school of though here that says provide a horrible website and give the surfer no reason to be remotely interested in your content. That way they will click on the ad's just to get away from your site.

It does work, but it doesn't work anywhere near as well as providing a really useful site. In addition, if you do the site properly then it gives you access to good tools that will make you a lot more money in the long run.

Don't take the lazy way.

When they hear that putting up a shite site can work then that's exactly what they do. It's easy and lazy. Perfect.

For the moment what you need to know is that by doing the site properly you can start to use the tracking and analysis tools properly and it's these tools that will unlock the secret to tapping into new profitable niches.

Fifty pages of good readable content. That should be your very first goal. Aim to get this together over a period of two months so that you are writing a page a day. If you can produce one good A4 sized article each and every day for the next two months then you are well on your way to collecting a nice slice of the advertising pie.

No need to learn HTML. No need to register a domain name or do anything else. Get fifty pages of good content together and then worry about building your site when you have it all ready to go.
