General Marketing - Affiliate Marketing

You want to make money as an affiliate but you don't have the time to devote to it. What a shame.

If you don't want to dedicate time to something that can change your life radically for the better then you don't have your priorities in the right order.

Searching for information on how I get rich with affiliate programs and giving the idea no time allowance is not the way to make money.

In any case whatever you choose to do if you don't give it the proper time allowance how you can you do it properly?

Time is everything in affiliate marketing and this whole affiliate world revolves around time and time management. You may not know it yet but management of your time is the single most important part of affiliate marketing.

Everyone has issues to resolve and problems to overcome. If you are holding down a dayjob and starting out in affiliate marketing then you have three key time modules to manage; management of your normal working hours, management of your affiliate marketing efforts and time spent with your family.

Ever since we are old enough to recognise that the onset of death is inevitable it becomes clear that we must use our time in ways that give us the most satisfaction. This realisation that we are mortal is what shapes our lives and drives our destinies.

It is not how much time you are prepared to devote to something that will determine the outcome. It is what you do with that time whilst you are using it that defines what the outcome will be.

Many years ago when I first started affiliate marketing I would spend hours reading forums and looking at statistics to see how I could improve my marketing revenue. Little did I know that I was simply pouring all of this valuable time away by not doing other productive things.

Affiliate marketing is not about reading forums for hours on end. That does not count as productive output. Sure you may learn a few things here and there but most of what you read will be hearsay and dross.Unless you try things for yourself you won't ever get to know what really works and what doesn't.

You don't need a forum or some guru to tell you that you can make money this way. Producing a site like this means managing your time so that you are productive when it counts. These type of sites are all about quality content and so if you are spending two hours a night working your affiliate business then you should be spending two hours writing that killer article. Not dreaming about what you will do with your adsense cheque and worrying about their payment cycles.

You know that you can make money by sending traffic to a thin affiliate site via article marketing. It's a common way of making money. Choosing this method is perfect for beginners - you just have to have the time management skills so that when you sit down to do your affiiate marketing you are actually writing and distributing, not reading the latest SEO news.

You know that Poker and Bingo sites are good affiliate cash machines. Go and build one. Stop procrastinating. Do it.

The truth is that you don't need a lot of time to build a successful affiliate business. You need belief that you can do it and the only way you can feed that belief is by starting to do it.

If you don't make it happen nothing will happen. But it won't be because you didn't have enough time, it will be because you didn't use that time to the best of your ability.
