I could have picked a round number. Instead, here is the honest breakdown.

Curated from daily Nominet drops. Exact-match trade names like electricalman.co.uk or landscapingexperts.co.uk - the kind that get typed into Google search bars by people looking for exactly your service.

The buy-out price is £995. At £49 a month, you would pay £588 in your first year for the same site, the same domain, and same-day updates included. The maths works either way - the right answer depends on whether you want the file or the relationship.

Pricing questions, answered

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The £49 covers everything on the monthly plan. The £995 covers everything on the buy-out. The free SEO month is genuinely free - I will not invoice you for it later. The only thing that costs extra is Breakthrough SEO after the free month, and you choose whether to take it.

What happens if I cancel the monthly plan?

You stop being billed at the end of the current month. The site comes down. You can take your domain with you - if it was an included domain, I transfer it to your registrar at no cost. No exit fees, no clawback, no awkward conversations.

Can I switch from monthly to buy-out later?

Yes. The first 12 months you have paid (up to £588) come off the buy-out price. After 20 months on the monthly plan you have effectively bought it - I will just send you the source code and the domain at that point.

What does "same-day updates" actually mean?

If you email me with a content change before 4pm on a working day, it is live by the end of the day. That is the standard. If it is something bigger - a new page, a redesign of a section - I will tell you the timeline upfront. Most things are same-day.

Is the £995 buy-out really the source code?

Yes. You get the Astro project, version-controlled, ready to host wherever you like. If you have a developer, they can extend it. If you do not, you can come back to me for changes on a per-job basis or pick up the monthly plan again.

Do you do refunds?

If something has gone wrong on my end - the site is broken, the deliverable is not what was agreed - I refund the affected month or the buy-out, no argument. If you have changed your mind after I have done the work, the right move is usually to cancel the next month rather than refund the last one.
